Application: Bonding process

Air-technical prerequisites

For bonding processes with glues or other application media, dust, vapours, stabilizers or aerosols in general can become airborne and pose a potential high risk.

Studies prove that aerosols which develop during application proceses cause skin allergies. Especially areas of the skin on arms, neck, forehead, eyes and lips are affected. Different procedures during the process as for example mixing or application increase molecular development of aerosols.

These areosols can be removed by direct exhaustion from the work atmosphere and filtered out reliably with approved air cleaning equipment.

By doing so, not only health hazards are eliminated but general risks as well:

  • Risk of fire,
  • smell nuisances,
  • unwanted impairment of sourrounding surfaces/workpieces.
