Air cleaners help to avoid fires and low-speed detonations inside of machines. Nonetheless, fires can occur when, for example, tools break.
With the inexpensive FILPATROL fire system of ILT you can extinguish fires quickly, effectively and in a cost-saving way before fires become uncontrollable. Your advantage: You protect the air cleaner and your machine simultaneously!
Application of FILPATROL fire
FILPATROL fire is applied directly on or adjacent to machines and air cleaners. All components (extinguishing genenerator and detector) are combined in an assembly group for easy installation.
The system comes ready for installation and includes a control unit and an operating panel. It only needs to be mounted onto a machine or into ductwork right before an air cleaner.
The built-in fire extinguishing generator protects (in FILPATROL fire: automatically with built-in detector) a room volume of 3 m³. Newly developing fires are effectively prevented in a room flooded with the fire extinguishing media emitted by the generator.
As extinguishing agent a dry, non-toxic and non-aggresive extinguishing aerosol is used. Oxygen is not removed. FILPATROL fire is suitable for application in occupied areas.
FILPATROL fire for the protection of air cleaners and ductwork. This system is developed by ILT and matches perfectly air cleaning devices: By employing a specially designed ductwork adapter, the exinguishing unit is integrated into pipes right before an air cleaner. Ductwork is flooded effectively with the extinguishing aerosol and fires inside the air cleaners are prevented.
The system can be electronically integrated into the control unit of the air cleaner and controls automatically all functions necessary: Automatic shut-down and closing of optional fire shutters.
The generator can be exchanged easily after the aerosol charge has been deployed.
